When I went to Trader Joe’s a couple of days ago, I completely missed three of the items on the shopping list. I had crossed everything else out.
Today, Sunday evening, I was driving by TJs and thought I’d go in quickly grab the three missing items. As I was walking in, a mom exiting the store was telling her daughter: “We can’t shop here. There are too many people. We’ll never make it.” She wasn’t kidding, the checkout lines extended for the whole aisles. The whole supermarket was full of people trying to check out, plus people shopping trying to navigate through other people.
(Needless to say, I turned around and as I exited the store I told my imaginary friend “We can’t shop here. There are too many people. We’ll never make it.”)
